Scarborough Asbestos Roof Replacement

An ageing asbestos-cement roof was removed from this Scarborough property and replaced with a new metal roofing system. Because asbestos roofing requires controlled handling, the removal stage was undertaken by appropriately licensed asbestos-removal personnel before the metal re-roofing work proceeded.

After the old roof sheets were removed and the area was cleared, the roof was prepared for the installation of the new metal roofing. The completed replacement has given the property a cleaner, more modern appearance and a sound new roof covering.

This project demonstrates how an asbestos roof replacement can be managed as a coordinated process, from the controlled removal of the existing asbestos-cement sheeting through to the installation and finishing of the new metal roof.
